Lonza and InduPro have entered into a licensing agreement aimed at advancing innovative antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) therapies. Under this agreement, Lonza will provide InduPro with a non-exclusive, worldwide license to its proprietary GlycoConnect®, HydraSpace®, and linker-payload technologies. These technologies are expected to enhance the development of ADCs targeting up to two oncology antigens, facilitating the creation of highly targeted cancer therapies.
InduPro plans to integrate its proprietary bispecific antibody capabilities with Lonza’s ADC platform. This strategic collaboration is designed to yield differentiated therapeutic approaches to complex diseases such as cancer, where precision targeting and efficacy are paramount. Jan Vertommen, vice president of commercial development at Lonza, emphasizes the importance of combining their bioconjugation technologies with InduPro’s innovative platform.
Prakash Raman, CEO of InduPro, highlights that this agreement is a significant milestone in advancing their pipeline of proximity-driven bispecific ADCs. By leveraging InduPro’s expertise in identifying novel, disease-specific co-target pairs alongside Lonza’s leading ADC technologies, they aim to develop first-in-class therapeutics that enhance selectivity and therapeutic windows, ultimately improving outcomes for patients facing challenging tumors.
