This collaboration leverages VoxCell’s innovative bioprinting platform, which integrates human tumor, immune, and stromal components within a single construct, thereby offering a more accurate representation of human biology compared to traditional in vitro and in vivo models.
The significance of this partnership is underscored by the FDA’s ongoing initiative to reduce animal testing in drug development, particularly for monoclonal antibodies. By adopting New Approach Methodologies (NAMs), such as VoxCell’s 3D tissue models, the industry can enhance preclinical translation rates, ultimately leading to safer and more effective therapies reaching patients sooner.
