BD BodyComm™ Version 3.3 Software Faces Transition Challenges to Windows 11

BD has announced that the BodyComm™ version 3.3 software, currently operating on Windows 10, will require significant updates in light of Microsoft’s transition to Windows 11, effective from October 14, 2025. This transition necessitates the use of an updated cable to connect the BodyGuard infusion pumps and BodyGuard-T and T34 syringe drivers to the BodyComm software. However, the availability of these essential cables may be delayed until after the Windows transition date, posing potential challenges for healthcare providers reliant on these systems.

This shift underscores the need for proactive planning among pharma B2B professionals, particularly in regulatory, QA/QC, and CMC roles. Stakeholders must ensure that their systems are compatible with the new operating environment to avoid disruptions in patient care and operational efficiency. As the deadline approaches, timely communication and strategic sourcing of necessary components will be critical to facilitate a smooth transition.
